The Director – Markets & Applications is responsible for the overall ownership of global Microelectronics new product development efforts across all product portfolios, including Lithography, Wet Etch Cleans (WEC), Gas applications, CMP, and Ultra-Pure Water (UPW). You will play a leading role in developing the organization's long-term strategy, where we will identify critical initiatives and action plans to achieve strategic targets.

In direct coordination with Sales, R&D, Engineering, and Operations, this individual will focus on driving growth and profitability of the Global Microelectronics Product Portfolio. You will oversee the development of technical and product roadmaps and drive the development / launch of new products. Direct reports in this role are subject-matter experts in their respective segments & applications, with a deep understanding of technological trends and innovation needs to meet rapidly changing customer requirements.

This position reports to the VP, Product Management & Strategy and will be located on-site in Port Washington, NY (USA), Zhubei, Taiwan, or Benoi, Singapore.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Leads a team that includes Market & Application Managers , ensuring strong commercial and technical alignment across the portfolio.

Champions New Product Development and drives the Strategic Innovation Plan , including Technology and Product Roadmap leadership.

Coordinates closely with the Product Management team  to support lifecycle decisions and strategic portfolio priorities.

Oversees Forecasting and Capacity Planning , ensuring alignment with and impact on Product Lifecycle Management (PLCM).

Leads ongoing collection of Customer Insights / VOC  and translates findings into compelling Value Proposition Development.

Builds strong partnerships with R&D and Business Development , enabling collaboration on innovation, feasibility, and market expansion.

Applies Danaher Business System (DBS) continuous improvement tools  and remains accountable for business KPIs, including revenue, margin, price performance, and engagement.

The essential requirements of the job include

Education & Experience:

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with a  minimum of 10 years’ experience  in semiconductor B2B sales, marketing, product management, technical service, or engineering.

Technical & Digital Proficiency:  Proficient in  Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook , with a strong ability to work across global time zones and under tight timelines.
