Supervising Engineer - Bridges

Parsons is seeking a Supervising Engineer – Bridges to work in our NYC office. You will provide technical solutions and detailed design for medium‑to‑large, complex bridge projects in the New York metropolitan area and globally.

• Perform design and analysis duties for structural projects, including bridge rehabilitations and replacements, rail/transit structures, tolling gantries, tunnel structures, and airport facilities.
• Supervise a group of five or more engineers and design personnel, directing technical assignments and coordinating staffing.
• Complete drawings, specifications, and procurement‑ready materials using CAE/CAD.
• Prepare engineering computations, material takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and geometric designs.
• Use design software and CAE/CAD applications to implement project designs.
• Review supplier drawing submittals and assist in bid analyses.

Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering and typically 12+ years of related work experience. Professional Engineer license is required.

• Lead capacity with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
• Current technology knowledge and ability to select and apply appropriate engineering software.
