We are seeking a detail‑oriented and innovative R&D Packaging Analyst to join our team in Valhalla, United States. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in packaging development, focusing on efficient, sustainable solutions that meet regulatory standards and enhance product performance.

Job Description
- Support the development and commercialization of new Product‑Package Sensory Interaction studies.
- Execute lab testing according to Pepsi Co/Industry standards, maintaining solid documentation and observation skills, and develop new SOPs as needed.
- Translate technical knowledge of industry standard methodology and equipment operating guardrails into effective package test plans.
- Work with a variety of packaging materials (bottles, closures, labels, cans, glass, corrugated, unit loads, etc.) and processing conditions (hot fill, cold fill, carbonation, aseptic), demonstrating aptitude to learn about packaging materials.
- Support packaging development, application, and integration initiatives by accurately testing, and preparing beverage prototypes and submitting samples for analytical and sensory evaluation.
- Perform all on‑the‑job activities in a safe manner within the context of Pepsi Co safety protocols, and be willing to lead the safety platform.
- Develop presentations based on work.
- Takes direction from multiple sources, from junior engineers to senior leaders.
- Attend business meetings and project reviews.
- Has basic knowledge of a lab environment.
What We’re Looking For
- ✅ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Design, or a related field
- ✅ At least 6 months of experience
- ✅ Experience in packaging analysis and development
- ✅ Familiarity with packaging materials such as bottles, closures, labels, cans, glass, corrugated materials, and unit loads
- ✅ Experience in a food science or food‑related company is a plus
