Over the last three years, our Commissioning Team has achieved a 10X increase in backlog, creating a high demand for our engineering and commissioning expertise across Education, Healthcare, Industrial, and Federal projects. We serve the Eastern United States from Louisiana to New York City and pride ourselves on strong client relationships, continuous quality improvement, and trusted partnership in the built environment.
Responsibilities- Find work and execute it.
- Actively support and coordinate with the commissioning team to deliver projects and uphold commitments.
- Apply HVAC sequence of operation knowledge; design review; create mechanical system testing procedures and conduct field testing.
- Manipulate, adjust, setup, and test HVAC controls systems such as JCI, Trane, Automated Logic, Siemens, and others.
- Maintain complete working knowledge of HVAC chilled water and DX systems, including design, operation, and testing of chillers, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, AHU, RTU, ERU, VAVs, exhaust, FCU, etc.
- Review air and water test and balance processes, TAB reports, and identify issues.
- Visit client facilities and gather necessary data to test systems.
- Create system installation and testing documents.
- Identify OSHA safety deficiencies and ensure compliance.
- Apply building codes to make intuitive decisions related to design and construction.
- Read and understand building plans and specifications.
- Work safely around electrical systems up to 600 volts.
- Communicate effectively with clients, construction trades, and design professionals.
- Exhibit high aptitude for abstract reasoning, assertiveness, thoroughness, and detail orientation.
- Work flexible hours and in hot or cold environments.
- Climb stairs and ladders, lift moderate weight, and proficiently use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Travel approximately 50% of the time.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Accomplished engineer with 10+ years of experience.
- Commissioning experience.
- Commissioning process certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
- Business development experience a plus.
- Professional Engineering License a plus or ability to obtain.
- Self‑motivated with highly developed verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Salary RangeThe projected range for this position is $137,000–$176,000 annually. Depending on other factors—skills, experience, location, market conditions—the range may vary slightly.
