Manufacturing Engineer
Excelco/Newbrook Inc. is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join our Engineering Department. ENI is a large-part, non-repetitive manufacturing company supporting critical Department of Defense programs. With continued growth, new equipment installations, and a strong backlog of work, this position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact manufacturing projects while growing professionally.
Key Responsibilities
· 3D Solid Modeling using Solid Works
· Create 2D manufacturing drawings (Solid Works)
· Develop written procedures (testing, cleaning, packaging, etc.)
· Design fixtures, tooling, and shipping containers
· Perform structural analysis (bending, buckling, connections, basic finite element analysis)
· Aid in manufacturing planning
· Support project scheduling
· Assist in project planning, status tracking, and budget support
· Create full production kits
· ERP data entry and tracking (Infor Syteline preferred)
· Generate shipping labels
· Maintain accurate engineering and production documentation
Qualifications
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
· Proficiency in Solid Works (3D modeling and drawing creation required)
· Understanding of manufacturing processes
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
· ERP experience (Infor Syteline preferred but not required)
· Manufacturing experience preferred; defense industry or AS9100 experience is a plus
