Senior Network Engineer

A leading global financial services firm is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join their Technology team. This role is critical in maintaining and enhancing the company’s global network infrastructure, supporting multiple business lines, and ensuring secure, compliant operations across markets.

• Design, implement, and maintain WAN/LAN networks and security infrastructure.
• Provide operational support and troubleshooting for network and firewall issues.
• Lead network-related projects from planning through delivery.
• Manage vendors and procure equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal risk frameworks.
• Work flexible hours, including occasional weekends, to support operational requirements.

• 5+ years’ experience in network engineering, ideally within financial services.
• Strong understanding of routing & switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, HSRP, VRRP, MLAG, Multicast).
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security (Next Gen Layer 7, Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper, Arista).
• Cloud networking experience with AWS and Azure.
• Certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, JNCIS, PCNSE desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
