** Job Description**##
** Overview
* * We are seeking a
*** Senior MEP Estimator
*** to join our team in
** Houston, TX, Atlanta, GA, Alexandria, VA, New York, NY, Los Angeles, LA or any other location where there is an Atkins Realis office**. This role is a hybrid and will require you to come to the office 3 days a week.

The ideal candidate will work on a wide variety of projects and must have Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) estimating experience.##
** Your role
*** Analyzes blueprints and other documents and prepares detailed cost estimates
* Performs accurate quantity takeoffs of available design documents
* Leads the development of conceptual and feasibility cost model estimates utilizing historic benchmarking information and industry experience in order to develop complete early stage cost estimate forecasting.
* Obtains accurate and up to date pricing information from databases, contractors, suppliers, etc. to utilize in estimates.
* Reviews and finalizes estimate unit cost pricing to reflect current market conditions and specific project logistics.
* Reviews historic benchmark cost information and highlights variances.
* Works with architects and engineers to develop clear understanding of project scope during preparation of estimate. Develops relationships with members of A/E firms and project team members.
* Prepares cost reconciliation between two or more estimates and explain variance cost drivers.
* Performs such other duties as the Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.##
** About you
*** Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying or a related engineering field, plus minimum 7 years’ MEP experience preferred.
* Provide high level cost estimates for various cost studies, and projects for Transportation Industrial, Manufacturing or Commercial projects.
* Work independently with engineers to provide cost estimates and reconcile with contractor bids.
* Fluent in MS Excel, On
- Screen takeoff and SharePoint document control.##

**** Expected compensation range is between $120,000 - $150,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
