Your impactWe are looking for Transportation Engineers to work on exciting and engaging large‑scale infrastructure projects. You’ll work with the best Professional Engineers and Project Managers in the business and be empowered to deliver bold solutions for everyday living.
Jacobs’ Transportation Group encompasses a diverse range of expertise and sectors, including:
- Rail and Transit: multimodal facilities, automated guideways, paratransit systems, bus facilities and depots, aerial, at‑grade and underground stations, elevated structures, tunnels and line structures.
- Bridges and Tunnels: comprehensive design, construction management and inspection services.
- Highways and Roads: expertise in planning, design and maintenance.
- Aviation: services related to airport infrastructure and operations.
- Ports and Marine: port planning, capital projects, maintenance, container terminals, intermodal integration, jetties, quays and coastal defense schemes.
You’ll be accountable for engineering design tasks specific to your group as well as supporting our Project Management team; as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget and schedule. You’ll be surrounded by expert mentorship from Professional Engineers and plenty of opportunities to help you thrive in your new career.
Here’s what you’ll need- Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design software (preferably Micro Station/Open Roads/Geopak).
- Engineer in Training (EIT) or on track to obtain.
- Previous experience designing or transportation‑related coursework.
Posted Salary Range:
Minimum $71,300.00, Upper $90,000.00.
The base salary range for this position is $71,300.00 to $90,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience and relevant education or training.
