Location: New York
Overview
ABC Environmental LLC is seeking a qualified Environmental Professional (EP) to perform and/or supervise Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) in compliance with:
- ASTM E1527-21
- Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA)
- EPA All Appropriate Inquiries Rule (40 CFR Part 312)
The selected contractor will prepare ASTM-compliant reports and sign the required Environmental Professional certification statement.
Minimum Qualifications (Must Meet ASTM EP Definition)Candidates must meet one of the following qualification paths:
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) OR Professional Geologist (PG)
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, geology, or related physical science
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Minimum 10 years relevant full-time experience in environmental site assessment
- Performing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments
- Identifying RECs, CRECs, and HRECs
- Conducting site inspections and interviews
- Reviewing regulatory databases and historical records
- Preparing ASTM-compliant reports
- Signing EP certification statements
- Ability to legally perform work in New York
- Professional Liability (Errors & Omissions) insurance
- General Liability insurance
- Strong technical writing skills
- Experience working with lenders preferred
- Per-report fee (negotiable based on scope)
- Ongoing project volume available
- Typical turnaround: 10–15 business days
