We are looking for an Electrical Inspector with MTA Project experience for an MTA tunnel project.

• Conduct daily field inspections to ensure work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and applicable standards
• Prepare daily inspection reports, quantity tracking, and photographic documentation of work performed.
• Verify contractor compliance with safety regulations and environmental controls.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and state agency representatives to resolve field issues and maintain schedule adherence.
• Participate in progress meetings and provide input on field conditions and construction activities.
• Ensure proper implementation of erosion and sediment control measures.
• Review and verify contractor submittals and materials delivered to the site.

• Minimum of 5 years of field inspection experience on electrical infrastructure projects, preferably involving MTA, DOT, or large public transit systems.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA standards, and MTA electrical specifications.
• Experience with tunnel electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, SCADA, communications, fire alarm, and emergency systems.
• Familiarity with testing and commissioning procedures for electrical infrastructure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to produce clear and detailed field reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in active construction environments.
• OSHA 30 certified.
• Any relevant construction inspection certificates would be preferred.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to and within the project site as required.

Infinite Consulting Corp carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's experience, education, and training. The estimated salary for this position is $65/hr. to $70/hr.
