As part of HDR’s Building Engineering Services Group, you’ll help design the critical infrastructure that supports the digital age and shapes the spaces where people work, connect, and thrive. Your work will directly support technological advancement, sustainability, and human experience.
Responsibilities- Assist the Senior Engineer with site studies, site designs, contract documentation preparation and graphic presentation
- Perform overall site layout, grading, utility layout, and drainage design
- Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures
- Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables
- Work independently on specific design tasks, or assist more‑senior engineers on larger assignments
- Perform other duties as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of “Site Civil Designer” and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
- Familiarity with Civil3D
- Local candidates preferred

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
(Stated benefits are for full‑time regular positions. Temporary and part‑time roles are eligible for limited benefits.) New Jersey/New York: $64,313–$91,875 yearly
