If you’re an electrical engineer who’s tired of “flexible schedules” turning into 40/60-hour weeks, this role is built differently.
This company are a New York–based MEP consulting firm that prioritizes quality design and sustainable workloads. That means we plan projects realistically, staff appropriately, and respect a true 40-hour work week.

- Develop construction documents, load calculations, and one-lines
- Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and architectural teams
- Support BIM/Revit coordination and clash detection
- Participate in client meetings and project delivery
- ✔️ 40-hour work week is the standard—not the exception
- ✔️ No “hidden overtime culture” or burnout cycles
- ✔️ Realistic project scheduling and staffing
- ✔️ Hybrid work flexibility
- ✔️ Clear boundaries between work and personal time
- 3–8+ years of electrical design experience
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of power distribution, lighting, and code compliance
- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
- PE license (or on track) is a plus
- Competitive salary (based on experience)
- Paid overtime (for the rare times it’s needed)
- 401(k) with match
- Generous PTO that you’re actually encouraged to use
