RoleSenior Scheduler – Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP)
Position overview:
The Senior Scheduler will support the planning and execution of the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project, a critical component of the Gateway Program. This role involves managing complex scheduling activities to ensure project milestones are achieved, providing risk analysis, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
- Evaluate and improve scheduling processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy; develop procedures, instructions, and guidelines that facilitate the two‑way flow of cost and schedule information.
- Contribute to specified elements of the business planning and budgeting process.
- Manage and ensure the baseline change management process is followed.
- Lead qualitative and quantitative schedule risk analysis.
- Proactively identify schedule risks and lead teams to identify mitigation strategies to minimize potential delays.
- Develop bid evaluation schedule criteria and prepare bid evaluations.
- Ensure schedules meet project requirements, reviewing, evaluating, and improving schedule quality.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accurate representation of project timelines.
- Monitor and report the critical path and schedule performance of the total project.
- Identify performance variances regarding actual versus planned results and recommend corrective actions to better align planned and actual results.
- Prepare monthly schedule updates, narratives, and reports for management and client.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- 10–12 years of experience in construction project scheduling and project controls, with at least five years on highly complex or large (> $500 million) projects.
- 5–8 years of direct hands‑on experience as a scheduler, specifically using Primavera scheduling software.
Skills and Abilities
- Proven experience in analyzing schedule claims.
- Strong communication and collaboration experience with clients, vendors, and diverse teams.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

The salary range is $180,000 – $235,000, subject to experience, education, budget, and location.
