Overview
A leading, $40Bn AUM European quantitative hedge fund is looking for a Linux Operations Engineer to join their Infrastructure team as part of a new office buildout in New York
, supporting the rollout and ongoing operation of their trading and research platforms.
- Administer and upgrade Linux-based systems
- Deploy servers end-to-end
- Troubleshoot across a high-performance environment
- Collaborate with engineering teams on automation and monitoring initiatives
- Help shape the operating setup of a growing US presence
- Experience with Linux administration in high-performance environments
- Proficiency with Red Hat and CentOS
- Proficiency in Python and Bash
- Experience with Ansible
- Ability to work on automation and monitoring initiatives
- Experience contributing to infrastructure buildouts and scaling
