Staff Highway/Civil Engineer

Location:

New York City office. Dewberry is seeking an experienced civil engineer who can work as part of a team in all facets of civil engineering, including site and street design, design plans, engineering estimates, technical specifications, and details related to highway and street infrastructure.

• Work on site and street design, including horizontal and vertical alignments, roadway and site grading, construction staging, signage, pavement markings, traffic signals, drainage systems, utilities, and related technical specifications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation, highway, and street design, or closely related engineering.
• Experience using CADD, such as Micro Station and/or AutoCAD.
• Experience with InRoads or Civil 3D modeling is a plus.
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification required.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass a background check.

The projected range for this position is $75,163 - $107,375 annually, for NY only. Depending upon other factors, such as skills, experience, location, and market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
