A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Civil or Structural Engineering
Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Design light gauge (cold-formed steel) structural drawings.
- Design and analyze concrete structures according to the ACI code.
- Familiarity with New York structural/civil codes.
- Design underpinning and excavation support for both new and existing structures.
- Prepare design calculations, specifications, and design analysis.
- Provide construction-related services, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to requests for information, conducting periodic site observations, and performing occasional specialized structural inspections.
- Proficiency in structural software such as AutoCAD, SAFE, Etabs, RAM, and Revit.
- Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and project owners to ensure successful project completion.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, both internal and external.
