Object Storage Engineer

Contract Designation: 2 days/week onsite in New York, NY or Lake Mary, FL

Note:

This is a W2 only role — C2C, C2H will not be considered.

Candidates should have hands‑on Everpure experience, in addition to familiarity with Net App Storage

GRID, Dell ECS, and PURE Flashblade.

Position Overview

Design and implementation of Object storage products such as Net App Storage

GRID, Dell ECS, PURE Flashblade, etc.
L3 support for Object storage issues, including performance analysis and sizing of the systems.
Ability to undertake technology certifications, define platform standards, and document procedures such as storage platform build and operational guides.
Lead and drive critical projects and strategic organizational efforts.
Design storage solutions based on requirements by collaborating closely with other teams.
Plan for carrying out large‑scale storage infrastructure refresh, migration, and upgrade activities.
Innovate by collaborating to create more efficient processes and automations.
Technical proficiency in Object storage protocols – S3.
Familiarity with on‑prem server infrastructure deployments.
Familiarity with storage provisioning and management tools such as Cyberduck, S3 APIs, and related tools.
Experience in design, deployment, and management of storage infrastructure.
Storage Hardware, components, and tools for unstructured data

Experience with storage management tools such as Cyberduck, AWS CLI, and S3 APIs.
Capability to perform capacity analysis and design of S3 storage environments.
Familiarity with design of S3 storage environments and data protection technologies such as object lock implementation.
Familiarity with performance troubleshooting and experience with conversion from CAS‑S3 protocols.
Proficiency and experience in scripting tools and automation:
