The City of New York is seeking a Marine Oiler for the Department of Environmental Protection. The selected candidate will perform various maintenance duties on DEP-operated vessels, including assisting in marine propulsion operations and cleaning machinery spaces.
Applicants must hold a valid Third Assistant Marine Engineer license or a Merchant Mariner's Document with the appropriate endorsements. This position is provisional pending passage of the civil service examination for permanent status.
