Overview
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, and testing of aerospace components and systems. This role will play a key part in product development, ensuring designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for aerospace applications
* Create 3D models, drawings, and documentation using CAD software (Solid Works, CATIA, etc.)
* Perform engineering analysis including stress, thermal, and vibration evaluations
* Support prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs
* Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure designs are production-ready
* Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
* Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and specifications
* Investigate and resolve design-related issues during development and production phases
* Support continuous improvement of existing products and systems
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
* 3-7+ years of mechanical design experience (aerospace preferred)
* Proficiency with CAD tools (Solid Works, CATIA, NX, etc.)
* Knowledge of materials, mechanics, and design principles
* Experience with GD&T and engineering drawings
* Familiarity with aerospace standards (AS9100, FAA, etc.) is a plus
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, and project teams
Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $ per year
