Quality Engineer
Overview
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support product quality and manufacturing processes in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. This role will play a key part in ensuring product reliability through inspections, process improvements, and adherence to established quality standards.
You'll work cross-functionally with engineering and production teams to identify issues early, implement corrective actions, and help drive continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Establish and maintain quality standards and inspection criteria for products and processes
* Perform internal audits in alignment with ISO 9001:2015 standards
* Monitor the full production cycle and conduct regular testing to identify potential issues early
* Inspect materials and PCBs for defects, durability, and overall compliance
* Analyze quality issues and prepare reports detailing findings and corrective actions (RCCA)
* Review engineering drawings, blueprints, and quality documentation for accuracy and completeness
* Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes and enhance overall product quality and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
* Prior experience in a Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or similar role
* Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
* Experience developing technical documentation and reports
* Knowledge of Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) methodologies
* Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and J-STD standards (electronics/PCB environment preferred)
* Understanding of statistical analysis and quality metrics
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Effective communicator with the ability to work well across teams
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related engineering field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
* Additional certifications in Quality or related fields are a plus
