RF Electronics Repair Technician

We are seeking a hands-on RF Electronics Repair Technician to join a growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and test RF and electronic equipment down to the component level, ensuring products meet performance and quality standards.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong test equipment experience (oscilloscopes, multimeters) and troubleshooting skills who wants to grow within a collaborative, engineering-driven environment.

* 100% Onsite (Manufacturing Environment)

Key Responsibilities

* Troubleshoot RF and electronic equipment to identify root cause of failures

* Repair and replace defective components at the board/component level

* Test and validate equipment using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other test tools

* Align, adjust, and calibrate equipment to engineering specifications

* Repair printed circuit boards, amplifiers, and multiplexing systems

* Review engineering change notices and apply updates as needed

* Maintain detailed documentation of repairs, calibrations, and testing

* Support Engineering, Production, Test, and Field Service teams with technical issues

* Perform rework, mechanical adjustments, and minor cosmetic repairs as needed

Top Requirements (Must-Haves)

* Experience with electronic troubleshooting and repair

* Hands-on experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters)

* Ability to troubleshoot down to the component level (board-level experience also considered)

* Experience working with RF or microwave (MW) equipment

Ideal Candidate

* Strong troubleshooter who enjoys hands-on technical work

* Confident using oscilloscopes and multimeters

* Detail-oriented and methodical in diagnosing issues

* Eager to learn and grow in RF/electronics repair

Required Qualifications

* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

* 1-3 years of experience as an electronics, RF, or repair technician

* Strong understanding of electronic components and circuits

* Comfortable using hand tools and working in a bench repair environment

Preferred Skills

* Experience testing and troubleshooting RF circuits

* Background in manufacturing or production environments

* Familiarity with amplifiers, PCB repair, or multiplexing systems

* Strong documentation and data entry skills

Work Environment

* 100% onsite in a manufacturing facility in Farmingdale, NY

* Bench-based repair work with access to test equipment and specialized chambers

* Collaborative environment with support from leads and supervisors (training provided)

* 9/80 schedule: 9-hour days with every other Friday off (short Friday on alternating weeks)

* Bi-weekly pay

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
