Key Responsibilities
  • Lead structural engineering design and project delivery for commercial, institutional, mixed-use, and renovation projects
  • Manage projects through all phases, including:
  • Schematic Design
  • Design Development
  • Construction Documents
  • Construction Administration
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, contractors, and consultants
  • Perform and oversee structural analysis, calculations, and engineering documentation
  • Coordinate and review drawings, specifications, and technical deliverables
  • Conduct site visits, structural assessments, and existing building evaluations
  • Mentor and supervise junior engineers and support staff
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and quality objectives
  • Maintain expertise in applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • 15+ years of structural engineering experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Experience leading structural engineering projects and managing teams
  • Strong technical expertise in:
  • Steel, concrete, masonry, and wood design
  • Structural analysis and finite element modeling
  • Knowledge of:
  • ACI 318, AISC 360, ASCE 7, IBC
  • Strong communication, leadership, and client management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced consulting environment

Preferred

  • SE License
  • NYC Building Code experience
