Research Scientist
Location: New York
Qualitrol, a Ralliant operating company, is seeking motivated Research & Development Cooperative Education (Co-Op) Students for the Fall 2026 term. This role provides an excellent opportunity for current students to gain hands-on experience in research, design, and product development. The R&D Co‑Op will assist with project management, process development and improvement, data analysis, and production support.
Responsibilities- Assist with project management, process development, and data analysis.
- Contribute to design and implementation of license keys for product generation systems.
- Leverage Python-based scripting and automation tools for production and database management.
- Support technical analysis of sensing technologies for improved performance and efficiency.
- Participate in strategic innovation initiatives to identify cross-industry applications for future development.
- Junior or Senior standing, currently enrolled and on track to graduate in 2026 or 2027 with a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Field of study in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with or interest in Python programming, automation, and data management.
- Ability to work collaboratively across research, engineering, and production teams.
- A 6-month immersive learning experience beginning Fall 2026.
- Hands-on exposure to R&D, product innovation, and technology development.

Pay Range
:
The hourly salary range for this position (in local currency) is $20-30.
