Job Description

As a Co‑op in Baxter’s manufacturing team, you will support the design, prototype, and testing of new medical products under the guidance of a Test Engineer. This role offers hands‑on experience in building and operating prototypes, creating test protocols, and documenting results.

• Participate in building and operating prototypes and test systems for new product introduction at module, integration, and system levels.
• Create prototypes, test protocols, and bench test setups.
• Develop and validate test systems required for design verification.
• Document and maintain test records in accordance with formal test processes and the Quality Management System.
• Attend cross‑functional team meetings and design reviews.
• Troubleshoot problems and contribute to root‑cause investigations.

• In‑progress degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Enjoy working in a team setting.
• Self‑motivated and able to manage time independently.
• Ability to understand specification documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with test equipment and detailed test protocols.
• Capacity for multitasking under moderate pressure.
• Willingness to learn new applications.
• Experience in detailed, clear documentation and record keeping.
• Both first‑time co‑ops and experienced candidates considered.
