Shift Supervisor-West End Ave Energy Control Center

The Shift Supervisor will direct Facilities Mechanic activities for the assigned location, and other locations as directed. Reinforce Con Edison’s Safety Vision for Zero Harm. Interface with stakeholders daily, perform equipment inspections and preventive maintenance, perform troubleshooting activities, support capital and maintenance projects, perform mandated safety inspections, equipment installations and repair activities. Provide Section Manager with accurate and timely information concerning activities and performance.

Assist with regional operating activities associated with developing and reviewing performance in relation to the department’s goals and standards. Prioritize various field operations including seasonal snow removal and maintenance & inspections. Administer and communicate procedures, engineering, plans, and specifications to ensure proper maintenance of facilities. Will lead Facilities Shift Mechanics. This role must meet certification prerequisites and be able to qualify to hold mandatory certifications as specified.
