Construction Inspector

New York State | Highway & Bridge Projects

We are actively seeking experienced Construction Inspectors and Construction Office Engineers to support major NYSDOT and Thruway infrastructure projects across New York State.

These opportunities are ideal for professionals with strong highway and bridge construction experience who are looking to work on complex transportation projects with established engineering and construction management teams.

Responsible for on-site inspection activities across NYSDOT highway and bridge projects, ensuring work is completed in accordance with project specifications, standards, and safety requirements.

Responsible for project documentation, contract administration, reporting, quantity tracking, coordination, and supporting Resident Engineering teams on active transportation projects.

• Minimum 5+ years of NYSDOT and/or heavy civil transportation project experience
• Recent NYSDOT and/or NYS Thruway project experience strongly preferred
• Highway and bridge construction background required
• Proficiency with Site Manager required
• NICET Level II, III, or IV preferred
• PE license considered a plus
• Strong understanding of NYSDOT procedures, documentation, and field operations
• Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S.

• Work Zone Traffic Control (WZTC)
