# Project Overview:

Bechtel's Manufacturing and Technology (M&T) Business Unit is designing, building and commissioning a semiconductor fab in Clay, NY. Job Summary:

In this role, you will conduct field investigations and client interviews to determine work scope and cost estimates for a project's mechanical aspects. You will lead design, development, modification, and evaluation of mechanical components and processes. Your recommendations will resolve technical issues and ensure the unique and complex requirements of a project's mechanical aspects are met. #LI-ME1

# Major Responsibilities:

+ As directed, manages complex interactions among multiple Bechtel entities or client-mandated collaborations with other contractors as required.

+ Performs and manages the work in accordance with relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design guides and Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs).

+ Prepares and/or reviews Clean rooms equipment specifications, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations and award recommendations.

+ Coordinates engineering efforts in assigned areas between specialty and other engineering groups or disciplines, with the client, suppliers, and subcontractors.

+ Primary responsibility includes managing the Clean rooms subcontracts and design interfaces.

+ Possess thorough knowledge of owner-specific design requirements, relevant local regulations, and constructability considerations.

+ Review and verify work completed by subordinate engineers and subcontractors.

+ Addressing issues as they arise during project execution

Education and Experience Requirements:

+ A recognized degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.

+ Professional license in engineering from a recognized licensing board (or international equivalent) is preferred with 10+ years of progressive work experience.

+ Technical knowledge of related engineering systems, engineering calculations, applications of engineering and construction methods and materials, and engineering application of computers.

+ Proficient knowledge of project engineering processes and procedures.

Experience of 3D modeling tools like Revit, Navisworks, etc.
