AutoCAD Drafter - Foundations & Geotechnical Construction

ECD NY is the one of the largest full-service foundation contractors in the Tri-State area and is expanding up and down the east coast. We help developers, owners, and general contractors reduce risk, control costs, and stay on schedule by combining advanced drilling technology with collaborative value engineering, delivering foundations that support today’s infrastructure.

ECD NY is actively looking for a qualified AutoCAD Drafter (Foundations & Geotechnical Construction) to support some of the most high-profile construction projects in the Tri-State region. This position is based in Congers, New York and requires regular onsite presence.

• Prepare and develop detailed CAD drawings and layouts based on engineering plans, specifications, and project requirements
• Produce shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction details for field operations
• Assist with survey data processing and field layout preparation
• Update drawings to reflect design revisions and field changes
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure drawings are accurate and buildable
• Organize and maintain project drawing files and documentation
• Support the preparation of submittals, sketches, and technical exhibits for clients and project teams
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and company drafting standards

* May perform other duties as assigned

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Surveying, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications
• Understanding of survey data, coordinates, and construction layouts is preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both office and field personnel
• Ability to manage multiple drawings and project deadlines
