The annual salary on offer for the successful Senior Electrical Engineer is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum.
Summary of the Senior Electrical Engineer Role:
The successful Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for design, development, system architecture for Electronics Hardware Design, PCB Design, Power & Firmware Development.
Senior Electrical Engineer Key
Skills:
- Education – Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Experienced in the full product design lifecycle
- 5-10 years industry professional experience
- PCB Design & Schematic Capture
- Experience of Altium Designer, OrCAD, Panthoen, Cadence Allegro
- Knowledge/experience of Power Electronics, Motor Control, DC/DC Converters, Motor Drives, SMPS, transistors, thyristors
- Experience with Power devices MOSFET, IGBT, SiC and GaN
- Network interfaces – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485, Ethernet, PCIe, MIPI
- Knowledge & experience of MIL-STD-1275/704/461 and DO-160 standards
- Embedded C, C++, Python – Bonus
- Experience with EMC/EMI, CE Marking, sensors, power management, and signal/power integrity
- Experience with Motor control simulation including MATLAB, Simulink or equivalent
- Industry & Technology experience – Aerospace, Defense, Space, Industrial, Motion Control, Power Electronics
- Good problem solving skills, innovative and enthusiastic
