Overview

Tekberry is seeking an A&T Technician to support our client, Moog, a global leader in precision motion control systems for aerospace and defense applications. This role supports assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and qualification of complex electro-mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic hardware in a collaborative engineering and production environment.

This is a highly technical hands-on role ideal for candidates with strong troubleshooting ability, assembly/test experience, and comfort working with engineering drawings, instrumentation, and complex hardware systems.

Key Responsibilities

Assembly & Test Operations

• Perform assembly and testing on production, prototype, development, and qualification hardware

• Operate and support hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems

• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, rework, and failure analysis on hardware and equipment

Technical Support & Engineering Collaboration

• Work closely with engineering teams to support product development and qualification activities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, procedures, schematics, and technical instructions

• Provide feedback and recommendations related to hardware issues and process improvements

Equipment & Documentation

• Operate inspection equipment, hydraulic test equipment, electrical equipment, pumping systems, and environmental test equipment

• Maintain accurate A&T logs, quality records, and technical documentation

• Support generation of A&T procedures, quality reports, and failure analysis documentation

Team & Process Improvement

• Participate in team meetings, continuous improvement efforts, and safety initiatives

• Support training and knowledge transfer activities within the team

• Contribute to lean manufacturing and operational improvement initiatives
Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude

• Experience with assembly, testing, diagnostics, or troubleshooting

• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and technical work instructions

• Experience using hand tools, measuring devices, and testing equipment

• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills

• Electro-mechanical assembly or test technician experience

• Aerospace, defense, medical device, or advanced manufacturing background

• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems experience

• Electronics troubleshooting or diagnostics experience

• Experience supporting prototype or qualification hardware

• Familiarity with engineering support environments

• This role is primarily targeted for 3rd shift support

• Training may occur on 3rd shift or another shift depending on business needs

• This position may operate on an as-needed part-time basis depending on workload demands
