We are seeking an independent, proactive hands‑on person able to fix robots both hardware and firmware and closely work with our Operations and USA team. As such you will travel to customers across the US, debug the situation, coordinate with our HQ in Switzerland and apply the fix. This is a core role for our US expansion and you will be the first robot fixer on the ground.
Key Responsibilities- Keep our US robots running by debugging and fixing hardware issues on‑site.
- Coordinate maintenance and support with the onsite technicians and security guards.
- Organize robot logistics, like shipping, spare robot locations, etc.
- Relevant experience with hands‑on projects, involving electronics and moving mechanical components. Similar jobs could have been technical support, field mechatronic technician, laptop repair technician, etc. Student projects or side hustles also count.
- Multidisciplinary, not scared to get your hands dirty replacing robot parts or learning new tools.
- Valid US work visa of citizenship.
- Goal driven and independent, getting robots working properly is top priority and you can figure out how to do it.
- Working with robots in the field often means working under pressure, either due to tight deadlines or due to customers watching.
- The job implies traveling often and on short notice depending on where and when the issues happen.
