Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Energy Engineer to support a leading energy engineering firm delivering energy efficiency, building performance, and controls‑focused projects across the greater New York City area. This role works onsite with clients—including pharmaceutical facilities, hospitals, and higher‑education campuses—to identify, develop, and implement energy conservation measures from concept through execution.
The Energy Engineer will spend the majority of time onsite conducting field investigations, testing equipment, analyzing BAS/BMS trends, and gathering data to support energy analysis and project development. Over long‑term onsite engagements, this individual will proactively identify opportunities, develop implementation roadmaps, and collaborate directly with client stakeholders, project managers, and subcontractors to deliver high‑value solutions with minimal oversight.

- 3+ years of experience as an Energy Engineer
- Strong technical fundamentals in energy analysis and building systems
- Experience with energy audits and/or retro‑commissioning
- Hands‑on experience with BAS/BMS, including trend analysis
- Experience working onsite in pharmaceutical, hospital, or higher‑education environments is preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and time‑management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required)
