This Product Design Engineer role exists to own display programmes end to end, from concept through mass production and continuous improvement.
- Lead the engineering from prototype, through test stores, to full rollout.
- Produce production drawings, full drawing packs and own the BOMs.
- Design mating plastic parts that survive shrink and warp at volume.
- Make the cost and manufacturability trade‑offs on tool suites worth over a million dollars.
- Travel for installs and supplier visits across the US and overseas.
- Solid Works, used for real production work. Non‑negotiable.
- Extensive experience as a Product Design Engineer, Development Engineer or Mechanical Engineer in high‑volume manufacturing.
- A proven track record in injection moulding design, ideally alongside sheet metal.
- Sound DFM judgement and the ability to step straight into live programmes.
- Point of sale, retail display or high‑volume consumer product experience is a real advantage.
