We are seeking an experienced Senior Power Systems Engineer to support complex electrical engineering projects within power generation and heavy industrial facilities. This role focuses on power systems analysis, equipment specification, protective relaying, and full project lifecycle execution supporting critical utility infrastructure.

Responsibilities- Perform load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and relay coordination studies
- Develop and review one-line diagrams and power system models
- Specify and evaluate transformers, switch gear, breakers, protective relays, CTs/PTs, UPS systems, and associated equipment
- Support equipment sizing calculations for cables, transformers, switch gear, and motor starters
- Review vendor drawings, calculations, and technical submittals
- Manage engineering projects from design through commissioning, including schedules, budgets, procurement, and contractor coordination
- Support plant operations and maintenance teams with troubleshooting and field engineering activities
- Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, ANSI, and applicable NERC reliability standards
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in power systems engineering, utility generation, or heavy industrial facilities
- Strong knowledge of protective relaying, power system analysis, grounding, and electrical distribution systems
- Experience with ETAP, SKM, Easy Power, or similar analysis software
- Familiarity with NERC reliability standards and utility engineering practices preferred
- PE License preferred
- Utility generation or large industrial power experience
- Experience with medium-voltage systems, substations, and relay coordination
- Strong project management and vendor coordination skills
- Comfortable working in active plant environments and supporting field operations
