Project Structural Engineer, Buildings

TYLin is a globally recognized, full‑service infrastructure consulting firm committed to providing innovative, cost‑effective, constructible designs for the global infrastructure market. This position is located in New York City and is part of the Buildings team, which handles new construction, renovation, adaptive reuse, and historic preservation projects.

• Structural design and analysis for a wide range of building projects involving steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and other building systems.
• Preparation of drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site investigations to document existing conditions.
• Coordinate with staff and clients on projects.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (Master’s Degree considered an asset).
• 3-6 years of experience in residential, commercial, or institutional building projects; historic preservation experience is an asset.
• Proficiency with analysis software (e.g., RISA, SAP, RAM) and working knowledge of REVIT.
• P.E. license preferred; S.E. license considered an asset.
• Client‑focused with commitment to integrity, innovation, and sustainability.
• Demonstrated collaboration in diverse and inclusive teams.

Compensation: $88,000 – $104,000 annually (local market).
