  Onsite at 375 9th Avenue. Within walking distance of Penn Station.
• Shift: Full-time, M-F 8-5 local time with potential for overtime. Not a union job.

  Yes — onsite at the client with extensive equipment and facilities.

• Follow all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency requirements, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Lead operations, assign work orders, and provide technical and procedural training of coworkers and subcontractors. Arrange for subcontractors as needed.
• Consult with clients to schedule preventive maintenance during downtime to minimize business interruption. Plan a preventive maintenance program to ensure building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.
• Check building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment within design specifications and environmental conditions prescribed by the client.
• Oversee and inspect the work performed by engineering staff to ensure completeness, proper functioning of equipment, and client space in optimal condition.
• Respond to emergency situations and seek help when needed.
• Apply advanced knowledge to develop new, better methods for achieving goals at both individual and department levels.
• Demonstrate expertise in your job discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the organization.
• Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise across the function.
• Lead by example and model behaviors aligned with the company s RISE values; persuade at senior levels with a thoughtful, data-driven point of view to adopt different approaches.

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5-8 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Prior shift manager experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Physical requirements:
  
  stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

• Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions with broad business impact.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
• Strong math skills; ability to handle somewhat complex figures such as percentages and fractions for financial calculations.
