Your role

As an Application Engineer, your mission is to develop technical and commercial proposals for centrifugal compressor packages—ensuring solutions meet customer requirements while supporting the global sales team in securing new business. You will report to the Application Engineering Manager.

You will

• Review customer specifications and perform compressor calculations to develop optimized technical solutions
• Prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals, including cost structures and supporting documentation
• Collaborate with engineering, vendors, and internal teams to define scope, source components, and ensure proposal alignment
• Engage with customers through meetings and discussions to clarify requirements and support negotiation
• Support the full sales cycle by handing off awarded projects to execution teams and ensuring a smooth transition

You have 3–10 years of experience in engineering, application engineering, or turbo machinery/compressor environments.

• Strong technical foundation in engineering and ability to apply business/commercial thinking
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience with centrifugal compressors, turbo machinery, or energy markets (oil & gas, power, hydrogen, etc.)

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our manufacturing site in Voorheesville, United States (US)
