What You'll Do:
- Visit client buildings to assess mechanical systems, identify optimization opportunities, and scope projects-including energy savings estimates, install requirements, and incentive pathways
- Provide technical support during the sales process and help shape project proposals
- Lead installation and commissioning from kickoff through completion-overseeing schedules, subcontractors, budgets, and communication
- Integrate on-site controls with the cloud platform and verify successful data/communication flow
- Serve as the technical authority during final commissioning and customer handoff
- Produce drawings, documentation, and close‑out materials
- Act as a technical escalation point for active buildings, assisting with troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Product to refine tools, processes, and customer experience
- Engineering background (HVAC, mechanical, electrical, or building automation focus preferred)
- 5-8 years in MEP engineering, BAS design, controls installation, or commissioning
- Strong understanding of HVAC controls and building automation
- Comfortable traveling throughout NYC
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across clients and internal teams
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast‑paced, startup environment
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to improve internal workflows
- Experience with Niagara Tridium, controls commissioning, or energy retrofit projects is strongly preferred
