Position OverviewThis role is embedded within the Engineering Department's Engineering Operations Division – Project Controls Unit. The successful candidate serves as a core technical asset, supporting project scheduling, performance reporting, and project governance services across capital and engineering programs. The focus is on rigorous schedule management, analytical oversight, and ensuring projects progress efficiently from planning to execution.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and analyze complex project schedules using Primavera P6 to support major engineering and construction initiatives.
- Conduct thorough baseline and schedule update reviews to track progress and identify deviations early.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad‑hoc schedule performance reports for project stakeholder visibility.
- Analyze schedule and cost variances by performing rigorous critical‑path and schedule risk analysis.
- Maintain resource structures and engineering coding structures within the master scheduling framework.
- Monitor project status and track resource updates continuously across active tasks.
- Document formal project controls procedures and project execution plans to support standardized workflows.
- Develop scheduling standards and comprehensive guidelines for the Engineering Operations Division.
- Provide technical guidance, advice, and mentoring to internal project controls staff.
- Support the administration, implementation, and training of Primavera scheduling software and integrated reporting tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related technical degree.
- +7 years of professional experience in Construction Management and Scheduling.
- Hands‑on experience performing baseline and update reviews, along with professional proficiency using Primavera P6.
- Strong communication skills, oral and written.
- Hands‑on experience utilizing Microsoft Project for project scheduling and tracking functions.
