The Project:Mace, as part of MPA delivery partner joint venture of Mace-Parsons-Arcadis, has been selected as the Gateway Development Commission's partners of choice to support the GDC across the Gateway Program in New York, inclusive of the Hudson Tunnel Project.
The busiest rail connection between New York, New Jersey, and the Northeast Corridor, the Hudson Tunnel Project will improve capacity, reliability, and resiliency of commuter and intercity rail transit serving 800,000 daily passengers from Washington, D.C. to New York and New England. A milestone project supported by the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), the project is slated to receive nearly $12 billion in federal funding, the largest investment in a mass transit project in modern history.

- Participate in Construction kick-off meetings.
- Participate in weekly construction management (CM) meetings and site visits.
- Support onboarding and orientation sessions for contractors and CM teams on GDC sustainability/REIM requirements.
- Review and track construction submittals for alignment with GDC sustainability requirements.
- Coordinate with contractor sustainability representatives to implement GDC.
- Collect and organize documentation from design and construction teams as it relates to GDC Sustainability goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Support preparation and submission of Envision documentation to the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI).
- Track credit progress and assist in maintaining project-wide Envision documentation logs.
- Coordinate responses to ISI comments in collaboration with internal and external teams.
- Support tracking of sustainability KPIs (e.g., materials, energy, water, waste) during construction.
- Assist in preparing periodic sustainability reports and internal updates.
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, environmental, construction) to ensure consistency in sustainability implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience on infrastructure or construction projects.
- Familiarity with sustainability frameworks (Envision preferred; ENV SP is a plus).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
Note: The estimated starting salary for this position is $130k. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
