We are seeking a detail‑oriented, proactive Resident Engineer to join our team on a NYCDDC project in the Bronx.

• Provide overall construction administration of contract
• Lead and conduct progress meetings and safety meetings
• Manage direct reports including Inspectors and Office Engineer
• Ensure contractor’s work meets compliance with plans, specifications, codes, and safety standards
• Review contractor performance and compliance with safety requirements
• Prepare and review correspondence, maintain project records, prepare change order documents, and prepare progress reports
• Monitor schedule, cost, and quality
• Serve as a technical resource and problem solver in the field and office
• Assist Office Engineer as needed
• Other duties as assigned

• 15+ years of REI/CI experience on infrastructure projects
• 5+ years of experience working on NYCDDC projects preferred
• New York State Professional Engineer License Required
• Bachelor’s in Engineering Required
• OSHA 30
• Experience working with public agencies required
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, work respectfully with multi‑discipline teams and maintain composure under deadlines

Expected salary range is $176,800 - $197,600 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent on the individual’s qualifications, skills, experience, and physical work location.
