Civil Engineer

Delta Engineers, Architects, & Surveyors (Delta) is a multidisciplinary AEC firm founded in upstate New York in 1976. Along with our corporate headquarters located near the intersection of Interstates 81, 86 and 88, Delta has additional offices across Central New York and Chevy Chase, MD, together with remote team members located across the US. We are seeking a versatile and team-oriented Civil Engineer to join our Civil Group. The desired candidate will preferably have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, or an Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 10 years' experience. PE is required.

Proficiency in HydroCAD, Micro Station and/or AutoCAD is required. A working knowledge of InRoads Storm & Sanitary and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge is preferred. Past experience in the development of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans which implemented green infrastructure for site and linear projects is preferred.

Primary duties will include:

• Performing work which involves conventional types of plans, investigations, surveys, structures, and/or equipment.
• Solving engineering problems using experience, judgment, and education.
• Preparing or assisting in the preparation of engineering documents, details, schedules, or reports as assigned.
• Attending client meetings/presentations.
• Communicating with client representatives, contractors, and suppliers.
• Serving on field inspection teams to obtain and document existing conditions using field notes, sketches, and photography.
• Developing quantity take-offs and construction cost estimates.

This is a full-time position available at our headquarters in Endwell NY,

Hiring Range: $85,000-$100,000 (Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities along with an internal equity and alignment with market area data.)
