Senior BIM Electrical Engineer – Design-Build Specialist

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess a robust technical background and a proven track record in the electrical construction or design-build sectors.

Requirements:

+ 6 years of hands-on experience as an electrical engineer specifically within the construction or design-build industries.
+ High-level expertise in Revitis essential, particularly for electrical systems modeling and cross-disciplinary BIM coordination.
+ A comprehensive grasp of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant local electrical regulations.
+ The capacity to develop intricate technical drawings and specifications with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

+Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
+Prior experience directly employed by or collaborating closely with electrical contractors.
+ Familiarity with industry-standard tools including

AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revizto, Bluebeam, BIM 360/ACC,and Procore.
+ Direct the electrical engineering lifecycle for diverse sectors, including industrial, commercial, institutional, and mission-critical facilities.
+Construct and maintain comprehensive Revit models encompassing power systems, lighting, grounding, telecommunications, and fire safety layouts.
+Conduct electrical assessments, such as arc, voltage drop, fault current, and load calculations.
+Evaluate and apply project specifications, client requirements, and regulatory codes likeNFPAandNEC.
+Execute internal audits and design checks to maintain high-quality deliverables.
+Verify that all Revit outputs conform to both corporate protocols and client-specific requirements.
