Project Engineer; Civil Design Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking a talented and driven Civil Engineer with expertise in Civil Site and Municipal Design using Civil 3D. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of civil engineering projects with an emphasis on municipal infrastructure and site development. The ideal candidate will have 4–8 years of experience and be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Experience with federally funded projects is strongly preferred.

• Stormwater management and detention design.
• Hydraulics and hydrology modeling.
• Storm sewer design and underground utilities layout.
• Grading, earthwork, and quantity takeoffs.
• Site geometry planning.
• Preparation of construction specifications and technical details.
• Report preparation and technical documentation.

• Roadway and intersection design.
• Sidewalk and corridor development.
• Conceptual planning and layout for transportation projects.

• Contribute to a variety of civil engineering projects across disciplines.
• Assist with budget tracking and schedule management.
• Lead internal and external project meetings.
• Prepare and coordinate plan sets with minimal oversight.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure timely deliverables.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 4–8 years of professional civil engineering experience.
• Experience with federally funded projects (preferred).
• P.E. license (preferred but not required).

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong project and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple long-term and short-term projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to confidently lead meetings and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Capable of assembling complete plan sets with limited supervision.
