This opportunity involves assisting with structural engineering tasks such as research for code and project criteria, field inspections, design calculations, and detailing/design of buildings. You will create analysis models, hand calculations, drawings, and perform design engineering during all phases of design, including construction administration.
What You'll Do- Complete assigned work within the schedule and number of hours provided.
- Support preparation and modification of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
- Assist in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.
- Assist engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
- Support engineering teams with various tasks and duties including but not limited to research, data collection, field investigations, development, and design of projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Master’s degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering with primary focus on structures and 1 year of relevant experience.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
- Experience in Revit and/or Micro Station/AutoCAD.
