Junior Marine Structural Engineer

• Perform tasks on projects requiring a broad or deep knowledge in the field of structural engineering and marine infrastructure.
• Conduct structural analysis and design, including reinforced and prestressed concrete, steel, and timber design; deep foundations; gravity‑based foundations; earth retaining structures, etc.
• Implement design best practices, ensuring conformance with all applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Prepare and review calculations for analysis, along with engineering reports and memoranda.
• Prepare construction drawings and other documents, such as technical specifications.
• Perform or oversee construction administration activities and work collaboratively with members of all company disciplines.
• Perform site inspections and other duties as required.

• Bachelor’s in civil engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering; a Master’s is advantageous.
• Engineering in Training Certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• 0 to 4 years of related experience in marine/waterfront structural design, construction, inspection, and rehabilitation.
• Ability and willingness to travel and perform required fieldwork.
• Comprehensive written and verbal communication skills along with advanced relationship‑building skills.

Base compensation: $75,000 to $85,000 for New York location only. Actual compensation varies with education, experience, skill set, and/or location.
