Responsibilities- Leading contributor to a team of engineers and technicians
- Solving engineering problems and challenges
- Performing designs, evaluations, preparing calculations and drawings, and cost estimates
- Conducting site inspections and investigations from time to time
- Preparing standard documents such as technical specifications per applicable design codes
- Researching and reviewing design options for technical and financial impact
- Preparing engineering reports and other technical documents
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or higher (master’s preferred), with a minimum of 2-3 years of related experience in civil design or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Able to register as a Professional Engineer in NY or able to obtain registration while working
- Involved in professional associations and willing to learn
- Well-developed planning and organizational skills, able to work in time-sensitive situations with multiple deadlines
- High written and verbal communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiar with various CAD/CADD analysis software programs
- Able to work with remote staff and willing to travel
USD $73,600 to $114,600 for the New York location (subject to variations based on education, experience, skill set, and/or location)
