Experienced Civil Engineer

Seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead civil engineering and land development projects from planning through construction. The role involves project management, site design, engineering analysis, permitting, client coordination, and mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in land development, civil design, and project leadership while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulatory requirements.

Job Role s and Responsibilities
  • Manage land development and site design projects from concept through construction.
  • Prepare and review engineering plans, reports, calculations, and permit applications.
  • Design grading, drainage, utility, roadway, stormwater management, and septic system improvements.
  • Develop engineering drawings and design documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Coordinate with clients, municipalities, regulatory agencies, contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Attend project meetings and regulatory review meetings.
  • Conduct site visits and field investigations.
  • Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers and designers.
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule and in compliance with applicable engineering standards and regulations.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Qualifications and Certifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
  • Strong experience in land development and site design projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Experience with grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility design, and permitting.
  • Strong project management and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain preferred.
