Position: Traffic Seller Doer | Long Island
Location: New York

Focus

Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to both deliver traffic engineering projects and cultivate client relationships that generate new work.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and perform traffic engineering and transportation projects.
  • Prepare traffic impact studies, traffic analyses, and technical reports.
  • Develop traffic signal, signage, pavement marking, and roadway safety recommendations.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Identify, pursue, and help secure new business opportunities.
  • Prepare scopes, fee proposals, and support project pursuits.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and oversee project schedules and budgets.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • PE license required; PTOE preferred.
  • 10+ years of traffic engineering experience.
  • Experience with traffic studies, traffic operations, and transportation planning projects.
  • Proficiency with traffic engineering software such as Synchro, HCS, and/or VISSIM.
  • Proven ability to develop client relationships and support business development efforts.
  • Strong communication, project management, and technical writing skills.

Must be authorized to work in the United States of America.
