This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.
The Quality Engineer is a critical role for the organization, as our customer base has strict quality requirements. The incumbent reports directly to the Quality Manager and will have a breadth of responsibilities with exposure to multiple disciplines. This position requires excellent communication, technical acumen, and strong time‑management and organizational skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Interfaces with customers, sales, engineering and manufacturing to understand and support customer‑specific quality requirements
- Serves as the primary quality interface for new product development and new product launch
- Performs 1st article inspections
- Liaises with customers to prepare product and documents for source inspection
- Conducts quality review of X‑ray parts
- Develops test standards
- Performs and documents results of life testing
- Reviews engineering change orders to ensure compliance with quality requirements
- Performs and documents all required self‑release activities
- Performs final pre‑cap inspections
- Maintains all quality requirements for military standards
- Participates on material review board as necessary
- Prepares and provides reports as necessary
- Maintains quality documentation
- Utilizes RBS tools to drive quality improvements
- Executes internal and external corrective actions using the 8D process
- Conducts internal reject trend analysis and follows through on improvement opportunities
- BS Degree in Engineering or Technical AS Degree with relevant experience — electrical disciplines preferred
- 3+ years of prior Quality Assurance experience
- Must be familiar with ISO 9001 & AS 9100 quality system requirements
- Experience working in a quality role in a manufacturing environment
- Electronics, electrical, or electromechanical manufacturing experience is desired
- Experience with problem‑solving tools and methodology
$65,000 - $95,000
